Just a reminder for folks in the northern hemisphere to blow/vacuum out your machines before summer heat hits with full force. I just did my workstation box after noticing that it was idling higher than usual, and it was truly amazing how much dust there was clogging up the various air intakes and heatsink fins. Don't wait until something overheats and fails!

I put filters on the every inlet for my computer and I opened it up last night and it was still full of dust. Apparently aluminum fins collect more dust than an air filter. |
