I just purchased a Zotac ID80 mini PC and it came with a remote (MCE style remote it appears). I am wondering if anyone has had success using one of these remotes with all the buttons working. It seems to recognize it as a keyboard by default. The only information I can find about it working is related to XBMC (http://ben.periton.co.uk/2012/06/config ... e-control/).

The remote in that post is the exact same remote I have. Would I be able to follow those instructions?

Output from cat /proc/bus/input/devices

I: Bus=0003 Vendor=0471 Product=20cc Version=0100
N: Name="PHILIPS MCE USB IR Receiver- Spinel plus"
P: Phys=usb-0000:00:1d.0-2/input0
S: Sysfs=/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.0/usb4/4-2/4-2:1.0/input/input0
U: Uniq=
H: Handlers=kbd event0
B: PROP=0
B: EV=120013
B: KEY=c0000 40000000000 0 58000 8001f84000c004 e0beffdf01cfffff fffffffffffffffe
B: MSC=10
B: LED=1f

Thank you

No because there are different dependencies in Arch and Linhes

This page describes describes what is required to get it going in Linhes pay attention to the "Tip" section
