I need help I bought a new one Hauppauge WinTV dualHD usb model 1590 lsusb Bus 001 Device 002: ID 2040:8265 Hauppauge dualHD have tried my device on debian on Raspberry pi works out of the box and arch linux without desktop and can see output from lsmod before and after usb inserted, used diff to see only modules used by usb > rc_hauppauge 16384 0 > em28xx_rc 20480 0 > rc_core 61440 3 em28xx_rc,rc_hauppauge > si2157 20480 2 > si2168 24576 2 > i2c_mux 16384 1 si2168 > em28xx_dvb 36864 0 > dvb_core 172032 1 em28xx_dvb > videobuf2_vmalloc 20480 1 dvb_core > videobuf2_memops 20480 1 videobuf2_vmalloc > videobuf2_common 57344 1 dvb_core > em28xx 102400 2 em28xx_rc,em28xx_dvb > tveeprom 28672 1 em28xx > videodev 266240 2 videobuf2_common,em28xx > mc 61440 5 videodev,si2157,dvb_core,videobuf2_common,em28xx this diff is made by kernel 5.5.5-arch1-1 on Anarchy dist User linhes R8.6.1 mythtv rev v30.0-58-xxxx kernel 4.9.159-1-ARCH on daily user recorder have a test computer I can try on found out module is outdated on linhes R8.6.1 how do i update in kernel ! ? have found a forum post where new v4l-dvb is being built I just can't miss .config in kernel tree see below viewtopic.php?f=15&t=20278 my tv broadcast switches to dvb-t2 1. april 2020 it's not a joke so need help before |
