There appears to be several versions of the Nova-T 500, the pictures and Box identities are the same : Code: Nova T 500 WinTV-NOVA-T-500 Model 287 SL-287-V2.0-UK Using the two together appears to generate a problem if you have the pre-amp switched on on the Nova-T 500 using the force_lna_activation = 1 in the dvb-usb-dib0700 file in /etc/modprobe.d directory. What appears to happen is that Nova-TD500 refuses to record programmes after an initial recording. If the file is deleted and an external amplifier is used on the Nova-T500, every thing seems to work well. It even seems to reduce the problem with the Nova-T500 with MythTV appearing to record, but no file being created.
