I used to be able to stream audio in Firefox from sites like Radio Paradise and others using some sort of Mplayer plugin. It always "just worked".

Now in R6 when I try to open a stream I get the "open / save as" dialog. Open defaults to Mplayer and selecting "open" does launch Mplayer but does NOT play the stream.

On R5.5 Mplayer didn't launch it just played the audio stream.

Anyone have any idea how to get this working the way it did in R5.5? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't appear to exist in the LinHES repositories.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can access internet radio sites (like Radio Paradise - http://www.radioparadise.com/ ) with Firefox in R6?

I'm suffering a major WAF hit from the upgrade due to this not working. Yesterday she said "well can't you just go back to the way it was?"

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Martian
