I'm having a small issue with a film I ripped that has subtitles. It's a French film I ripped from a BluRay as an mkv. On my ubuntu box, it plays with subtitles fine. On my Mythbox, it doesn't. I'm using the Internal player with VDPAU on R6 + .22 I've updated to the newly pushed nvidia 140 drivers with the hope that this would solve the issue, but unfortunately it hasn't. When I press T, I get a message saying "No captions". The file definately has imbedded subs, I've also extracted the subs as an .srt file and they both are in my Myth3/video folder. Any suggestions anyone? |

I stumbled upon the answer to this just the other day - apparently closed captions / subitles don't work with the Internal player in .22 but *should* be there in .23 Regards Chris |
