This is an update to the How-to I did for R5.5. link: http://knoppmyth.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=19744 It is much simpler now but you will need to move to lirc-0.8.6. The current 0.8.5-CVS6 may also work but it would then require all of my .conf files from the R5.5 how-to. If 0.8.6-CVS6 works then you will see both /dev/lirc0 and /dev/lirc1 created. Moving forward though! The main advantage of 0.8.6 is it is more robust and the driver uses a single lirc socket like all other remotes (no more lirc0/lirc1 rubbish). You can upgrade to lirc-0.8.6 following the specific notes under the section on LIRC in http://knoppmyth.net/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=20749 As in the above mentioned how-to, the lirc IR codes are now all 64 bit instead of 32 bit so you need to update the lircd.conf file. The standard version for the veris receiver's lircd.conf can be found in your build directory. For example using the above link's how to, the path would be: Code: /home/youruser/lirc/lirc-0.8.6/remotes/imon/lircd.conf.imon-antec-veris
