What seems to be strange here is that it appears from the error message that occured for me, the column default_authority appears to be already present for the tables dtv_multiplex and channelscan_dtv_multiplex. So replacing ADD with MODIFY, the SQL instructions work. After starting the process off again it appears to fail again when going from schema 1233 to 1234 with: Code: Upgrading to MythTV schema version 1234
DB Error (Performing dabase upgrade): Query was: INSERT INTO channelgroupnames (grpid, name) VALUES (1, 'Favorites'); Error was: Driver Error was [2/1062] QMYSQL3: Unable to execute statement Database error was: Duplicate entry '1' for key 1 new version: 1234 So it looks like the data was already present. I set up a clean box and installed various versions and tried various upgrades , but I found the error about the duplicate column kept cropping up when upgrading to 6.02/6.03. from 6.01 and below.
