Whats the best way to implement the selection of an _ when tuning HD stations like 1_2 , 2_2, etc. Has anyone done it? |

Not that I've done it, but if I were, I've pick an unused key on the remote. Then change that binding (lircrc) to output _ instead of whatever it was outputting before.... |

Cecil, Took your suggestion and reassigned the "star" to an "_" Worked like a charm. The only I can't figure out is how to scale down the size of the numbers so I can see the _ when it displays. |

You can also change the separator character and rescan... IIRC there are 3 choices, '-', '_', and '.' with the '.' being highly recommended because it's on most remotes. I remember encountering the same issue in my early experiments with ATSC tuners and quickly coming to this conclusion. |

Actually, you don't have to rescan... You can change the seperator in the web settings screen under "TV", "Channel info". Change the "channum" column to your liking (. _ or -)(I haven't tried other symbols but I wonder if others would work...). |
