Could not recover from my previous HD failure running an older version of Knoppmyth. Finally got my drive replaced, installed 7.2 and after some playing around with settings, got it working. I thought I saw the settings at one time on this new system but can't find them now.

I'm trying to find the settings that allow you to change the number of seconds to skip forward/back when using the right/left arrow keys during playback.

For mythtv see http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/User_Manual: ... ack_Groups

Essentially go to "Service Menu->MythTV Configuration->Setup->TV Settings->Playback Groups"

For mplayer it is in the lircrc file and you add entries like:
Code:
# Seek forward 60 seconds
begin
       prog = mplayer
       button = KEY_RIGHT
       repeat = 2
       config = seek +60
end

Under "Service Menu->MythTV Configuration->Setup", I don't have "TV Settings" as a choice but found "Playback Groups" under "Service Menu->MythTV Configuration->Setup->Video".

Thanks for getting me in the right area!
