Has anyone had success setting this up on ArchLinux? I have two Myth boxes on the same LAN and would like to create a symbolic link to a directory on the other box. Much like:

ln -s /myth/video/tv ~/tv

This article indicates that this can be done:

However, the example required a package for Ubuntu.

You probably want to do this with NFS:

http://nfs.sourceforge.net/nfs-howto/

However, if you want to view the same myth recordings on two boxes, you won't be to view them from within mythtv directly because the recording will only be in the database of the box it was recorded on. To "share" recordings within mythtv, you would need to change one into a slave backend (if you have tuners on both boxes) or a frontend only (if you can move all the tuners to the other box).
