Looking for a way to launch minecraft on a front end. It's a Core Duo with a decent GPU, couple Gb ram, so I figure why not? :)

Is there a way to launch a user supplied command/script in mythtv? A new menu option perhaps? Just looking for a push in the right direction!

Thanks

mj

Minecraft is a java applet (not javascript)
Code:
sudo pacman -Sy java-runtime openal xorg-server-utils

Reboot computer java wants to install it'self on reboot.
Code:
wget http://s3.amazonaws.com/Minecraft.Download/launcher/Minecraft.jar

Code:
nohup java -jar ~/Minecraft.jar
It will work without the nohup command it just spews out too many commands onto the terminal window without it.
That seems to be all you need to do to make it work. I don't use Minecraft so I couldn't log in.
