A lot of work went into R5E50. I wanted a release that was something special as R5E50 is named in honor of Rob Levin. Although I didn't personally know Rob, he and I spoke several times on IRC. I was shocked and deeply touched upon hearing of his passing. Thank you Rob.

So I think a little sensitivity is in order. Personally, I'd like to thank Cecil & Dale for all their hard work in producing KnoppMyth. I'd also like to thank all of the forum members, especially those dedicated ones, for their contributions. I don't think I've ever had to ask a question on here - my questions had already been asked & answered.

R5E50 is the best release of KnoppMyth yet. It even works "out of the box" with my Via CN400 chip (with a little editing of the xorg.conf file). Radio works great, and MythArchive works great (once the correct settings have been entered). I could never go back to VHS, and couldn't go back to commercial hard disk recorders.

Although I've learnt a lot about Linux and it doesn't seem as mysterious as it once did, I'm still not up to the task of contributing programming skills. However, I have no hesitation in donating to help and will also start writing a document to help others with a Via SP13000 board get the most out of KnoppMyth.
