If you view streaming video in MythStream on a system with a PVR-350, you will find that MythStream overrides your normal MPlayer configuration. This results in very slow video, even as the audio plays normally.

To fix it, edit /usr/share/mythtv/mythstream/player.xml, look for "-vo" in the file, and replace the value (default "gl2") with "xv". Of course, you can use any supported video output setting, but this one works well with a PVR-350 on R5F1.

Additionally, you may find it useful to add a new item specifying the "-framedrop" option, like so:

Code:
      <item>
        <name>-framedrop</name>
        <value></value>
      </item>

This will help to keep audio and video in sync, especially on slower systems.
