I currently have a dbox2 which i use to play back the dvb-t (ts) .nuv files I am trying to avoid moving the computer into the living room so i want to convert the divxs and mpegs to ts mpeg 2 files. i curently use vlc on a windows box when i convert files to ts using avi2mux i struggle with lipsync correct.

i know the usual thing people want to do is .nuv to .avi but i want to go the other way. the other reason for the enqury is i want to try reduce the size of my recordings by cutting out the ad's etc. i figure i could use the mpegs created using mythburn and convert them back to .nuv s without the ad's and unwaned audio streams. any sugestions would be appreciated.
