hello
i have skystar 2.6d dvb-s card
with this card came a com port receiver. And i cant use this remote control.
in setup knoppmyth i select "technisat 39" but remote control is doesnt work
please help me

What happens run 'mode2' and press buttons? Is it working at all?

Sorry for bringin this old(ish) post back but I am having same problems which just doesn't seem to get solved.
Has anyone solved this problem?

If this is the one using the USB remote, have you tried:

cat /proc/bus/input/devices

Does the remote appear in the list?
