Hello,

I am currently using The DVI connection of an ATI AIW 7500 video card to drive a Sanyo projector. I just recently bought a PNY Nvidia 6600GT video card to replace the ATI. This raises a few questions:

Am I going to have to re-figure my modelines?
Since KnoppMyth is a Knoppix base, will it automatically discover the new video card?
Basically, do I need to do a full re-install, or can I just put in the new video card and be up and running with minimal configuration?

You _may_ need to fiddle with the Driver setting if the Nvidia auto install script doesn't work. I'd just swap the cards and reboot, as there's pretty good chance it will get it right.

The modelines are contingent on a number of things, but in this case the monitor/TV's capabilities should be the determining factor.
