Okay, I've worked on this more & more, read a lot about X, but still can't seem to get it quite right in order to come up with a dual display using a PVR-350 & FX5200.
Right now, I've come up with a configuration that gives no picture on either, but when I press the enter key on the keyboard, the TV springs to life, so I guess I'm getting that infamous "black screen" that I've read about before on the monitor; 'it's' there, it's just not visable.
The last configuration I tried gave me the MythTV screen superimposed on the KnoppMyth screen (screen you get when you exit MythTV) & the TV works when I hit "Watch TV", otherwise, no pic.
I'm going with a dual screen configuration (not Twinview) and have 2 sections for each screen, device & monitor.
Questions I have: are bus id's required for both cards/ is the framebuffer still used ? Examples I've seen do use the std 350 device section along with a section for the monitor.
'Not sure exactly what I'm leaving out or keeping in that needs to change, but any comments would really be appreciated.
This may not be rocket science, but I just have so much time, and this derned thing is going to work eventually. Would it really kill anyone to just give a hint or two ?
Thanks.
