Is there some way to set a job to clear the sql log every am or whenever ?
My sql log /var/log/mysql.log is already 22MB after 1 day. That's crazy. And if everything gets recorded, is there some way to delete all of it without having to manually go through 10,000 recordings to do this ?

Mine is empty. Pehaps a good idea if you post some of the messages you are seeing in the log file.

There is a problem with some of the log rotation scripts that results in that mysql.log file getting way too huge. Here is a thread that links to some threads that discuss ways of fixing it for now...

Thanks marc & ceenvee703, I'll take a look; again, I may be doing something wrong, but I'll check things out again today. My SQL database did have errors, so maybe that contributed too.
