Voilà quelques problèmes que j'ai rencontré après avoir installé knoppMyth et la solution que j'ai trouvé pour les resoudre. Je ne connaissait rien à linux avant d'installer knoppmyth ce pourquoi mes réponses aux problèmes manquent peut être d'informations...

1. Problème de Backend

Lorsqu'un utilise mythtv sur une seule machine, il faut, dans le menu setup de mythtv, (qu'on peut lancer en tapant mythtv-setup dans une console) mettre l'adresse ip du pc et remplacer 12.0.1.1 (qui se trouve à deux endroits) par l'adresse ip du pc

Comment trouver l'adresse du PC taper dans la console? Taper: ifconfig.

2. Problème avec MythWeather (météo)

Message d'erreur impossible de se connecter blablabla. La solution: aller dans configuration, météo. Débrancher le cable réseau physiquement, configurer vos paramètres, enregistrer en appuyant sur i, sorter et rebooter.

3. Problème pour importer un DVD

Dans la configuration de multimédia / DVD le repetoire par défaut est /mnt/dvd. J'ai du le changer en /dev/hdc pour que ça fonctionne. hdc ne correspond pas forcément à votre installation.
Taper ls -l /dev/dvd pour savoir quoi
Chez moi ls -l /dev/dvd donne:
lrwxrwxrwx 1 root cdrom 8 May 29 14:13 /dev/dvd -> /dev/hdc

4. Problème pour lire un DVD
Pour faire fonctionner mon DVD j'ai d'abord été dans configuration ==> configuration ==> configuration multimédia ==> dvd ==> configuration du lecteur et là j'ai mis: xine -f dvd://

Ensuite j'ai taper dans la console:
/usr/share/doc/libdvdread3/examples/install-css.sh

Voilà.

My french isn't perfect but here goes;

Here are some problems which I encountered after having installed knoppMyth and the solution which I found to solve them. I did not know anything about linux before installing knoppmyth. This why my answers to the problems might be useful…

1. Backend Problem
When one uses mythtv on only one machine, it is necessary, in the menu setup of mythtv, (you can launch by typing mythtv-setup in a console) to put IP address of the PC and to replace 12.0.1.1 (which is at two places) with the IP of the PC
To find the address of the PC to type in the console, type: ifconfig.

2. Problem with MythWeather (weather) Error message impossible to connect blah.

The solution: Go to configuration, weather. Disconnect the network cable physically, configure your parameters, (not entirely sure what he trying say here) and reboot.

3. Problem importing a DVD
In the configuration of multi-media/DVD the default is /mnt/dvd. I have to change it into /dev/hdc so that it functions. hdc may not correspond to your installation.

No, it doesn't. The Tier sections are all related to hardware recommendations. I see no hardware recommendations in your post.

Ok - just trying to help on the translation front.

Does the Title for Tier 2 not say: If you've installed KnoppMyth and had edit any file to get things working. Please explain what you did to get things working. ?

If I was posting something similar to our french friend, I'd have put it in there.

No it says: Hardware Recommendations - Tier 2 - and then the rest. Context is important, and should really be pretty clear here.
