Can I get a HOWTO for using ndiswrapper with KnoppMyth? I wasn't able to make the package that was already installed with R5D1 work, so I uninstalled it, and complied the module from source. With R5E50, I'm not able to do that because I'm not sure how to set up the symlinks or whatever that are required, so I get errors in the make process. This is a show stopper for me. I've already tried downloading the kernel source package and untarring it, but I'm not sure what to do after that. Thanks! |

Thanks, for the reply. I guess I wasn't clear enough. My problem is that I'm not sure what to do after installing the kernel source, in terms of creating symlinks, etc. that will enable me to compile ndiswrapper--or even ivtv when a new version comes out. |

I believe all of that is discussed in that thread. You could also search for "madwifi" and see an earlier incarnation of getting module compilation support in R5E50. |
