So I did a very stupid thing I tried to update the Nvidia and Nvidia-glx drivers using Synaptic this gave me an INIT: C7 respawning too fast
SOOOOOO I did some digging and found that X wasn't starting becuase it cant find the Nvidia drivers. I have tried the solutions listed in this forum post and those on the wiki to no avail. I am running R5E50 frontend/backend system with an Nvidia Geforce FX 5200 TV out on the S-Video.
