Post subject: | [SOLVED] Tuning in Australian stations on a PVR-350 |
Basicly, I am having no success adding a newly bought PVR-350 to my knoppmyth box. See this thread for details http://mysettopbox.tv/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=13469 But the point is the tuner isn't working. If I use an external tuner and send that signal to the card through RCA cables, it works ok. It just cant pick up any stations when a co-ax is run to it from the antenna. Any hints from the Aussies in here ? |

Have you tryed to add them by hand , using the feq's for your area ? |

The thought crossed my mind. I have gone on a search for a freq table, but no luck. Might have to visit each channels site individually. I think I will try that now. I just gave tv_grab_au a try. But the channels it sets up didnt translate to MythTV setup GUI. ![]() |

Have a look at http://www.dba.org.au/index.asp?sectionID=22 and find your local transmiter. for example if the middle Feq is 690.5 MHz you would enter 69 as the Feq |

Thats for digital though right ? I am going stright from the co-ax wall socket, that comes from the External antenna, to the Co-ax in on the PVR-350. So I need analogue. |

I set up Win and SBS for both Wollongong (Knights Hill) Analog and Wollongong (Brokers Nose) Analog but with no success. I just get snow. I am not sure what the problem can be. Is there anyway to manually sure in stations while displaying the picture con-currently, like with a TV ? I am going to have to tripple check the signal and that they in fact sold me a PAL PVR-350, like I ordered. |
