I recenlty tried to get sleep (standby) working on my Toshiba notebook FrontEnd. When (unsuccesfully) working on this, I did a modprobe of
toshiba_acpi.

Since that time my recordings play well for 10 minutes and then start to stutter. Pausing for a view seconds makes it go away so I think my processor is slowing down.

At this point I would just like to undo the modprobe. Is there a simple command to remove something that was modprobed?

I am under the impression that modprobe only loads the driver into memory and that the driver will go away on your next re-boot, unless you edited one of the various configuration files.
