While burning a DVD of a recorded TV program (using Archive Files under the Optical Disk menu), I inadvertently pushed random button(s) on the remote. MythTV froze and I had to power down and reboot.

Now, when I select Create DVD from the Archive menu, the screen display goes directly to the original burn progress log viewer instead of displaying burn options, then nothing happens.

The last line of the log starts: Pass1 -ffmpeg -threads 2 -v 1 i /myth/tmp/work/1/newfile.mpg...

The Cancel button at the bottom of the screen has no effect.

I have deleted newfile.mpg and info.xml; I also renamed the relevant mythburn.log file, but the original progress log viewer continues to show up.

I will appreciate any suggestions.

Somewhere under /myth/temp there should be a .lck file, IIRC it's in the same directory which the .log files are. If you delete this, you should get the normal Archive Files screen.

Thanks, Bruce. I deleted both .lck files in /myth/tmp/logs and I am back in business.

Without the help of people like you in the MythTV community, I would be in deep doo-doo.

John
