I have a working remote that uses the input layer and I can access through /dev/input/eventX however, X changes from boot to boot. So I must change the conf (and restart lircd etc) each change. I believe I can make a udev rule to give it a fixed node. from here: http://parker1.co.uk/mythtv_tips.php Something like: Code: KERNEL=="event*",ATTRS{modalias}=="pci:v000014F1d00008800sv0000107Dsd0000665Fbc04sc00i00",SYMLINK="input/irremote" in /etc/udev/rules.d/99-local.rules should work, but it doesn't (the ATTRS{modalias} was coppied from udevinfo)... Any ideas? Thanks The remote was bundled with the Leadtek Winfast DTV1000T I am using R5E50, with the lirc that came with it. |
