| Post subject: | R5F1 IP address setup and no record |
I did a fresh install of R5F1 on one machine. The front end is the back end. During the set where I had to enter the IP address I entered: IP address for Mythtv: 127.0.0.1 Master server IP address: 192.168.0.103 Is this correct for a one machine setup? I can access the machine from my XP machine with no troubles but cannot record a program. I bring up the menu, select a tv show and tell it to record that show but it does not get highlighted and upcoming recording is empty. ________ Penny Stocks To Watch |

Even if you don't have other boxes you should have both the addresses set to the IP address of the Master backend. If you don't have the box on a static IP set it to the loop back address of 127.0.0.1 |
