AFAICT, support for my PVR350's Hauppage remote got removed a while back, and now I can't get it working after upgrading to R5F1. When I first installed KM (R5Asomething), it "justworked" when I told it what type of remote I had. When I installed R5B1, none of the hauppage configurations worked (it's neither gray nor silver, it's sort of a bronze color).

So I copied my old lirc configuration files and got it working under R5B1. After upgrading to R5F1 none of the Hauppage selections work (no surprise). However, this time I don't seem to be able to get it to work using my old lirc config files.

Does anybody have config files for the bronze Hauppage remote that work with R5F1? (The one for which support was removed between R5Axx and R5B1.)

Failing that, can somebody point me towards some Myth/LIRC troubleshooting hints?

You can always roll you own using irrecord. You can find directions for running irrecord on both the wiki and the forums. Rerun lirc-reconfig.sh and pick the Hauppauge Grey option to get the basic setup, then you'll need to shutdown anything else using the driver and follow the directions.

I was restarting lirc after making changes but forgot to restart the frontend. After restarting the frontend, it's working with my config files from R5B1.

After thinking about it more, I'm not entirely sure my remote
was supported by my first KM install. I may have copied the
lirc config files over from my built-from-sources MythTV
installation. If that's the case, I'm not sure where they came
from originally...

Cecil has an old thread around here somewhere (probably under general) where he solicited lirc configurations from folks. The intent was that would allow them to be incorporated so that more remotes worked "out of the box". You may want to hunt it down and contribute your config...
