| Post subject: | i need help with seting up my htpc |
i will be running a 2.8 ghz with tv out and a analog capture card. every time i hav tried to set this up on my tv i get an error message saying cannot load x make sure something about the resoloutin x server. i am so frustrated i want a prettymuch stand alone pc without microsoft, can anybodyhelp me with this |

Not really, all I can do is hazard a guess. See http://knoppmythwiki.org/index.php?page ... terInstall If you still have trouble, at least provide the hardware details of your system (motherboard make and model, CPU, video card make and model, etc.)

thanks for responding to me i willdefinetly check out that link and i shall gather more info on my equipment that i shall be attaching to the htpc |

I see that line too, if I delete all of my working modelines and try to force it to use one that doesn't work. |
