I have a mythtv box at my home connected to the internet and am using it in full capacity... (recording, tv, etc) and a 2nd computer at my shop. The shop computer does not have an internet connection but I do have cable tv at that location. I do not have a program guide at this location.

I am wondering if there is a slick way for me to export the channel guide from my online home PC to a csv or xml file that I could put on a USB drive and import it on the PC at the offline location.

I have not looked at the database yet and am wondering if it is as simple a task as dumping just one table.

If it is possible, I am wondering if someone could give me some insight on how to make this a relatively easy process. You'll have to forgive me though... I'm a windows programmer so some of this is new to me.

mythfilldatabase has a --file option, where you can give it the files to import into the database.

So then you'ld just have to download the XML files.

Thank you for the head start. That will make the import a piece of cake.

Is there a reference or a list of URLs that I can use so I know what xml files I need to download?

Or... do you think I should just hold off on this since zap2it is going away...
