I recently got the Super Dual Box Pro from an internet site. This is a PSX to USB adapter that lets me use my playstation controller and have it viewed as a joystick. It sucks. It supposedly is supposed to allow for 2 controllers, but no one I've seen on the web got this to work well. It also has a lot of noise (random buttons pressed) when two buttons are pressed simutaneously. So I am shopping for a new adapter, or simply a cheap gaming joystick that has a console-controller feel to it. Any recommendations? |

I haven't tried a PSX joystick, but using a playstation 2 guitar hero guitar works great (with Frets on Fire game). I bought a $12 Playstation to USB adapter at Radio Shack. They had another one for PSX too. |

I have a smartjoy plus and it works great in windows, i think it's ok in linux but i'm just in joystick hell most of the time anyway so couldn't really be 100% sure... liksang used to make / sell em, so thanks to sony you may be left with just 2nd hand ones on ebay. |
