Hi,
I'm building another mediacenter with Knoppmyth, but the computer I'm gonna use only accepts Low profile cards. (AGP and PCI).

The TV card I want to use is WinTV150 Low Profile but it doesn't come with a remote control.

I was looking for Windows MCE remote control which is supported under Lirc, but I saw irblaster.info sale Ir receiver.

Can I use any remote with this receiver? (I just need the lirc.conf for the remote?) Is the ir receiver easy to configure? I'm newbie in Linux. I'm used to use WinTV 150 with Ir Blaster which works right out of the box, so it would be great if installation was as easy as the WinTV 150.

Should it be easier to but a Microsoft MCE Remote?

Or is there another TV Card Low profile with a remote supported by Knoppmyth?

I used a Dvico Fusion 5 Lite low profile card in one of the Mythboxes I built. I used a Streamzap USB remote with it, however.

Yes. It's an automatic configuration choice during setup, or reconfiguration of an existing system.
