Post subject: | what version do we want? |
I did an auto upgrade from R5F27 to R5.5 and I have a /usr/bin/tcrequant file on my system (dated 10-15-06) without any intervention from me. I just used the version switch and found these versions on my R5.5 machine: Code: root@mythtv:~# /usr/bin/transcode version transcode v1.0.2 (C) 2001-2003 Thomas Oestreich, 2003-2004 T. Bitterberg [transcode] warning : unused command line parameter detected (1/2) [transcode] warning : argc[1]=version (unused) 'transcode -h | more' shows a list of available command line options. root@mythtv:~# Code: root@mythtv:~# /usr/bin/tcrequant -v
tcrequant (transcode v1.0.2) (C) 2003 Antoine Missout root@mythtv:~# These versions are a lot older than the 1.0.7 and 1.1.0 versions mentioned on the first page of this thread. Were did mine come from? Were they restored from the Knoppmyth backup/restore part of the R5.5 install files? What versions should I want on the R5.5 system? Eric |
