I've just upgraded some hardware. so if anyone needs a really old system to play with.. you're welcome to mine. .. cept you'll need to pick it up as im very lazy. I figure there might be a youngster who'd like to give mythtv a try but doesn't have any hardware. .. i dunno .... just an idea. I'd prefer to give it away to someone that doesn't have anything better... rather than someone who just wants another free frontend. ... ill just flog it off on ebay if there's no interest. BE WARNED!! IT"S NOTHING FANCY. gigabyte GA-7N400 socket A mobo. Athlon XP 2600+ (which I've overclocked to 3200+) geforce 4 agp with svideo out.. that works pretty good when connected via a converter 256 + 128mb ddr ... its just what came with my new mobo.. i kept the good stuff for myself. err.. i probably have a complete case somewhere.. but just a midi tower. and i have a few spare psu's if its needed. I don't have a spare HDD or dvd burner.. but ive got a few old cd-r's if it's helpful... and a 20gig HDD .. but im not sure if that will be useful. I happily ram knoppmyth on this for ages. granted with more ram and a propper hdd... |
