Has there been any more details released? The noted pages above are all the news I've seen on the 0.22 release date.

Not that I am aware of but I have been tracking the trouble tickets:
http://svn.mythtv.org/trac/roadmap

It had been hovering just around 100 open tickets for the last little while and just swung down to 88 tickets. The % complete has been creeping up so obviously they are doing a combination of fixing and punting as they decide what will be fixed.

The commits mailing list has way too much traffic for me to keep up with now so the push is on. People seem to be taking on 0.22 more these days in anticipation and opening more bugs. That's good.

Any idea how long it will be from the official release of .22 until it's available via pacman for us knoppmyth users?

Spidey,

Thanks, I'd already read that. My question wasn't "Is Cecil aware that 0.22 is coming out?" but rather "what sort of time frame does Cecil expect?"

Cheers!

The answer to that question has always been "when Cecil decides it's ready".

I don't think Cecil usually releases an update until a month or two (maybe more) after MythTV has released. This would allow it get more testing and bug fixes, so that we get a smoother upgrade.

I believe the intent is to update once 0.22-fixes is released. In the mean time nharris has provided a recipe to update from svn and I expect shortly you will be able to update on your own from the releases.

Until LinHES supports 0.22 you will probably lose a few things.
