The past few days my root drive has been filling up, because unfortunately, the logs are getting to ridiculous sizes!

I finally was able to catch it BEFORE it was full and the following appears in the syslog, kern.log and messages

Code:
Oct 25 11:28:34 mythtv kernel: attempt to access beyond end of device
Oct 25 11:28:34 mythtv kernel: sdc1: rw=0, want=27272372104, limit=976768002
Oct 25 11:28:34 mythtv kernel: EXT3-fs error (device sdc1): ext3_readdir: directory #59853989 contains a hole at offset 237674496

HELP! I've had many recordings not happen because of this.

Also, sdc1 is my external 500gb USB drive that I use for videos, if that matters.

No worries, looks like the drive may be dying. Time to backup
