That is my memory (or something similar) but I also recall never being able to adjust it perfectly when compared to the out-of-the-box performance of the 6200 in this regard.

Agreed. I have a Sparkle 8400GS connected to a CRT TV via s-video on one of my front ends and I'm sure I used nvidia-settings to adjust overscan.
