If I add a new hard drive how to I get it to add space under /myth/tv?

When you add a new drive can you join it with an partition on another drive?

I know I can add a new drive and assign it to be mounted at /myth/tv, but what happens to the old stuff in /myth/tv?

Would I have use RAID0 to use the space from both drives?
