I am intdoctrinating my nephew into mythTV: he's found an old Shuttlepc and tells me that its hanging (keyboard issue) during LinHES install. Mythbuntu does not hang during install: LAN NIC works well along with sound and video. We are hoping that replacing the USB keyboard with a PS2 keyboard will overcome the LinHES install issue. Is it unreasonable to expect that mythbuntu compatible hardware be compatible with Archlinux (LinHES)? |

I suppose it all depends on the specific issue and the version of the kernel. More details on specifically where it is hanging would be helpful. |
