FYI: Fresh install (although it "manual") of KnoppMyth R4V4.1 (latest) and I found that going to the KnoppMyth menu and selecting Shutdown or Reboot did nothing (other than whir the hard drive for a second). Did some searching here but didn't find any solutions. I solved this editing Code: /usr/share/mythtv/knoppmyth.xml I found the line that said something like Code: /sbin/sudo halt and changed it to Code: /sbin/sudo /sbin/halt
(or whatever the path for halt was). Did the same for reboot. This did the trick. |

Good find! I think this was addressed in R4V5. I recall the same behavior in R4V4.1, but I can shut down from the KnoppMyth menu in R4V5 without having to make that edit. |

No, it wasn't addressed. Perhaps I should have given the full path, but I've never had a problem shutting down or rebooting from the menu as it currently is... Future releases will have the full path. |
