Post subject:  Auto starting LinHES at a jump point

Greetings!

I'm trying to figure out how to start LinHES in to playing the slideshow at every boot. For example, if I type "mythfrontend --jumppoint "Random Slideshow" at the command line, it loads the slideshow automatically. Everytime I've tried to script it, the quotes around Random Slideshow get screwed up. I am linux stupid, so I doubt I've even got the questions for Mr. Google right so as to find the answer on my own.

Any thoughts?

Many thanks!

It depends on what scripting language you are using (sh, perl, bash, etc.).

However, in most cases the \ can be used. I.e.:

Code:
mythfrontend --jumppoint \"Random Slideshow\"
