| Post subject: | Viewing video at increased speed? |
I'm wondering if anyone knows of a program that will allow you to watch videos at increased speed. For example, say you have a show that is 20 minutes long...I want a program that will let me play it in 18 minutes by playing it just a little faster. Extra impressive if someone knows a way to do this that also automatically adjusts the pitch during playback so everything doesn't sound like chipmunks! |

mythtv cvs version will do this for TV. they call it Time stretch. mplayer i guess does it to for videos. taken from mplayer docs Quote: [ and ] Decreases/increases current playback speed by 10%.
{ and } Halves/doubles current playback speed. Backspace Reset playback speed to normal. |
