I was finally able to get a picture and sound using my Nexus-S DVB card under R4V5. I had the card working under Windows using RitzDVB (Good program for any windows users). However, when I tried mythbackend would always crash trying to tune to a channel. I have fixed that problem. It appears that you have to setup each channel manually under the MYSQL tables for the DVB. There is a little background. Here are the issues that I have: 1) Video & Audio are not in sync (AMD 950Mhz, 512MB) 2) I launched mythbackend manually from another terminal window to monitor output. here is what I get: DVB#0 Error - Reading Section (75) Value too large for defined data type (This repeats over and over again.) The channel I was testing is the NASA channel. I'm think that these two issues are related. But not sure. Any help would be appreciated. |
