G'day Do Knoppmyth releases usually follow a mythtv release fairly soon. The only reason I ask is that I am about to install a new system from scratch and thought I'd wait for the next MythTV release and hence potentially the Knoppmyth release ? Thanks Matt |

well normally there are .debs released for the new mythtv version, and a point release, although this time I think we may just see a preview release of R5. It will most likely just depend on how much time and what mood cesman is in. |

I'm looking forward to the next one. I just got my first Myth box up this week thanks to knoppmyth. It was far from a flawless installation, but I'm sure it was a lot easier than it would have been doing it from scratch. I noticed that the changelog for 0.17 includes support for the cable box that I just disconnected and was going to send back to RCN. Wow, if I could pull content from my digital cable box that would triple the number of channels available to me and give me 7 or 8 HD channels to pull down. I'm really looking forward to trying that! |
