I installed the new kernel 2.6.10 because i want to use my DVB-T Technisat Airstar2 card.
But after this update i have no connection to the internet (apt-get don't work).
Also i dont know what to do now to get my card running in the mythtv screen.
INFORMATION:
my lilo.conf run without initrd, i dont know how to make a new or if i need it.
I'm new in the Linuxword, so please help me.

I also havent any sound
Cant play movies, but when i klick "play Mpeg 4 cd" the cdrom is working

No connection to the internet? Is your ethernet module loaded? Try the lsmod command. If it lists no modules, then you probably forgot to build and install the modules when you compiled your kernel, and

make modules modules_install

will probably fix it.


If lsmod does list some modules, then please send us the output of the dmesg command.

the information was good, i forgot to load the right ehternetcontroller in the kernel.
now it works.
