Kernel 2.6.10 is running now,
but when the system boot up, the screen is black.
When x starts it work fine, but if I enter "alt crtl F1" i see the same xscreen and not the console (shell?!).
What can i do to see the startup screen, whith all this informations?
How can i change to the console screen?
Please Help, i am new in the linuxworld.

OK, so your monitor may not be able to sync to the frequency that the console is using. Add a vga=ask in /etc/lilo.conf, rerun lilo, and reboot.

This will give a number of different screen options when the console starts. One of them might work better.
