Post subject:  Problem? install Leadtech Winfast 2000 XP TV card
hi everyone

I am a newbie in Linux Os, i would like to build a htpc under knoppmyth R5A12 version. actually i did install R5A12 by using Auto-install. but have a lot of question????

1. i have a Leadtech winfast 2000 XP TV card. after i plug in the tv card and restart Os i can see it seems to be detected. but i have really no idea on how to configure and should i need to install any TV driver????

2. do you guys have any useful website for above problem???

3. if solve above problem then how to set the channel on mythtv??

The following hardware:

Motherboard: VIA EPIA MII 1.2G
RAM: 512
Hard drive:120GB ATA
TV card: Leadtech Winfast 2000 XP
PioneerDVD rom

I'd suggest reading the MythTV docs. If you enter the IP of your Epia in a browser from about computer on your network, you can access the docs. I'd also suggest searching the forum. I believe you have to specfic the card and tuner type for your card. Last you not least, I don't think the Epia is going to cut it for live TV with a "software" tuner.
