It's irrelevant, since there aren't any tuners which will work with DirecTV broadcasts. The HD-3000 and its ilk can only receive over-the-air broadcasts or unencrypted cable channels. There are no equivalents for DirecTV. You can always take the output of a DirecTV receiver and encode it (non-HD, of course) using a card like the PVR-250. In that case, you use a channel changing script to control the DirecTV receiver over a serial line or IR blaster. In this case, also, the frequencies are irrelevant. |
