am I right to say that if I get a HD-3000, and all i have is basic cable, ABC, fox etc... the programs that are in HD I will be able to watch in HD? I do not have to pay for the HD package from my cable company, correct? thanks -Cody |

No, you are inaccurate. Some folks have had success with getting QAM to work, others have not. I'd suggest a search of the MythTV archive and the pcHDTV forum. |

yes/no You can get most of the local channels OTA, but you won't be able to pull them off your cable line. you'll have to get an antenna. |
