Hello all,

newbie in this and looking how to build my first system.
My question is if it is possible to have delayed playback?
Under this I am considering that I am not at the home when recording starts but want to watch the show before recording stops. So, I am using the same file to record and watch.

From browsing through forums and wikis only found out that I can record the same number of shows as I have tv-tuner cards.

I understand that I will need one tv-in and one tv-out card if this is possible.

Also, if I have hardware decoders can I use one of VIA C3 processors without cooling in slim case?

On the end, is 200W power supply enough? (including HDD 3.5", DVD-RW)

TIA

Gordan

You can start watching a recording as soon as it has begun recording.

So if you record the show, and get home 10 minutes after it started, you can start watching (and as long as you are behind in time you can fast forward past commercials).
